What is a Domain Name?
A Domain Name is a very valuable asset to a company or an individual. It provides a quick and
easy way for your clients and customers to find you on the Web and to send you e-mail. However,
the supply of domain names is limited and virtually all superior names have been registered.
What is a top level domain (TLD)?
Often called extentions, the most common TLD's are .com, .net and .org. Although new
"country code" TLD's are becoming more and more popular such as .nz for New Zealand.
Of the over 200 "country code" TLD's, the most popular are .cc, .ws, and .tv.
